Finally finished getting bs set pics. Having one heck of a time getting them cropped, sized, and all that happy stuff.
I`ll post them one at a time if I have to (hope not!).
Anyway, what we have here is (I believe) Claro Walnut.
It has been stored inside for 8 years that I know of. Had my eye on it for quite some time. It came to me in a pretty large piece-49x12x3 inches.
I was only able to get close to a quartered cut on the sides. I don`t think they`ll be a problem to bend at all, and the grain does in fact run pretty straight.
The backs are slab or flat-sawn. I think I`m running out of room on this entry, so here`s the first pic, and we`ll go from there.
